 About the Captain and the Boat ABOUT THE CAPTAIN: Captain John Ogozalek has grown up fishing the waters off Rhode Island and Connecticut. He has also been boating most of his life. At the age of 16 he joined a volunteer fire department and received his Emergency Medical Technician certification. By the age of 18 John received his fire fighter certifications. He then joined the U. S. Marine Corps, spending 3 years in the infantry and traveled the world. During this time John enjoyed fishing in places like Cuba and Okinawa Japan. After leaving the Marines he returned home and began fishing the waters here. Since then John has been asked to teach people how to better themselves at fishing and boating.
ABOUT THE BOAT: 1987 Topaz Sport Fish, 30Ft. Power is from brand new twin, fresh water cooled GMC 350 motors with MD5 transmissions. The flybridge is fully enclosed and the canvas and glass are in excellent condition. The boat is also equipped with Outriggers, trim tabs. It sleeps six with a roomy interior. The galley has a fridge and microwave. Electronics include a Garmin chart plotter, 2 VHF radios and a depth and fish finder. The boat also has a new Lamar windless. The fuel capacity is 225 gallons and the water is 30 gallons. This is a serious fishing boat and is ready to fish.
